Owners Leen Weerheim, Juriaan Weerheim and Rik Paul were given the opportunity to purchase an adjacent plot of land to one of their current locations in Moerkapelle.
The construction of the greenhouse will take place in two phases, with the aim of having the first 2.5 hectares in production in the second half of this year. The remainder of the new greenhouse will be built in 2026. "The current developments within gerberaland and the increasing demand for our products from our current customers have convinced us to take this step," according to the management.
After the expansion, their total production area of large-flowered gerberas will be 11 hectares. More space to grow even more beautiful flowers. We are looking forward to it!
